The change of heart. The heart of change.

Production of a Discipleship Book for People with Intellectual Disabilities – Down Syndrome

A discipleship book specifically designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities, particularly those with Down syndrome, has recently been produced to provide them with an opportunity for spiritual and cognitive growth in a simple and engaging way suited to their abilities.

The book aims to:

  • Teach basic Christian principles in an easy and direct manner, with Bible stories and examples they can understand and apply.

  • Develop life and spiritual skills through practical activities, discussion questions, and weekly applications that help them interact with the lessons.

  • Enhance self-confidence and independence by encouraging participation and reflection on their daily lives.

The book contains organized and clear lessons, each including a key verse, simplified explanation, practical example or story, discussion questions, weekly application, and a short prayer, making it a comprehensive educational tool.

This production is part of the programs of My Heart Foundation, which seeks to support individuals with intellectual disabilities, empower them to live fully, and provide a safe and supportive environment for them and their families.

The book represents an important step toward empowering people with Down syndrome spiritually, socially, and educationally, and integrating them actively into the Christian community and broader society.
