The My Heart Foundation has launched the Annual Discipleship Program for people with disabilities, based on our belief that a person with a disability is not a burden, but a trust, a calling, and a life worthy of care and respect.
The program currently focuses on five individuals with physical disabilities, whom we accompany throughout the year through spiritual guidance and regular training sessions to enhance their personal, social, and practical skills, and increase their independence and self-confidence. The program will soon expand to include individuals who are deaf and mute.
The program also provides a safe and supportive environment, and offers support to families to reduce daily stress and strengthen family bonds.
Our goal is for the program to create real change in the lives of participants and their families, renew hope, and have a lasting impact.
