As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting and empowering people with Down syndrome, My Heart Foundation for Training and Caring for People with Disabilities organized a special day that combined spiritual fellowship with recreational activities. The event aimed to strengthen relationships, encourage independence, and create joyful memories in a loving and supportive environment.
The day began with a spiritual gathering at My Heart Foundation’s center in Abu Nseir. Participants came together for a time of worship, prayer, and reflection on God’s Word, providing a peaceful and encouraging start before setting out on the day’s activities.
The group then traveled to the Royal Tank Museum, where participants enjoyed an educational and enjoyable tour, exploring the museum’s remarkable collection and learning about its historical significance.
The day concluded with a shared meal at a local restaurant, where each participant had the opportunity to choose their own meal. This experience encouraged decision-making, promoted independence and self-confidence, and provided another opportunity to enjoy fellowship in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
At My Heart Foundation, we believe that days like these are much more than recreational outings. They are valuable opportunities to nurture personal growth, strengthen social skills, build confidence, and encourage active participation in the community.
My Heart Foundation remains committed to providing meaningful programs that support the spiritual, social, and personal development of people with disabilities, believing that every individual has unique gifts, great potential, and deserves to live with dignity, purpose, and hope.
