At My Heart Foundation, we believe that a visit can sometimes mean more than any material support. Going to someone’s home, spending time with them, listening to them, and making them feel loved and valued can make a real difference in their life.
Recently, we visited Dareen, and her happiness during the visit was truly heartwarming. We spent time with Dareen and her family and discussed the possibility of having her join our Foundation’s programs. If the Lord provides a bus and a suitable companion to accompany her, we hope she will become part of our programs and gatherings.
And because we know the little things she loves, we brought her some sweets and chips that she enjoys. Her happiness was priceless.
A visit may seem like a simple thing to us, but for someone waiting for a person to knock on their door and say, “You matter, and we have not forgotten you,” it can mean so much.
