The change of heart. The heart of change.

A Bible Discipleship Project for People with Disabilities in the Church

Based on our belief that every person is deeply loved and called by God, we are launching a Bible discipleship project within our church specifically for people with disabilities—both intellectual and physical—so they can be full participants in the spiritual life of the church, not on its margins.

This project aims to provide Bible-based discipleship that is simple yet meaningful, taking into account each person’s abilities and needs, and helping them know God, experience His love, and grow in a personal relationship with Him in a way that honors their dignity. We do not change the message of the Gospel; we adapt the approach so the Gospel can truly reach the heart.

The project will work through two parallel tracks:

  • One track for people with intellectual disabilities, using repetition, visuals, storytelling, and interactive engagement.

  • Another track for people with physical disabilities, focusing on spiritual discipleship, church belonging, and building a deeper relationship with God and the community.

We believe the church is not complete without them. Their presence is not merely a service we offer, but a blessing from which everyone learns. This project is an invitation to all whose hearts are open to be part of God’s work with people who are often not given enough space to hear—and to be heard.

Together, we seek to be a church that welcomes, disciples, and proclaims that the Kingdom of God is open to all.
